Steven Simpson is Head of Projects and Solutions at Aquatic Life, where he has been a key member of the team since 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and has dedicated his career to advancing practical water monitoring solutions across environmental, municipal, industrial, and mining sectors.Steven specializes in applying UV-VIS spectroscopy and advanced sensor technologies to solve complex water challenges. His work has supported critical projects - including response efforts during the drinking water crisis in Iqaluit - where innovative monitoring approaches were required for difficult-to-measure parameters.He has led the design and implementation of remote telemetry systems, process optimization initiatives, and large-scale water and wastewater instrumentation projects across North and South America. Steven focuses on delivering rugged, field-ready systems that improve data quality, operational insight, and regulatory confidence for clients operating in demanding environments.
