Juan Diaz Salazar is an Engineering Intern at Carollo Engineers and a PhD Candidate in water treatment in the department of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba, specializing in drinking water treatment, membrane filtration, and fouling. Juan holds a BSc in Biotechnology Engineering from the University of the Armed Forces – ESPE. With 7+ years of research experience, Juan has been involved in environmental remediation and water treatment projects in Ecuador and Canada.
