About me
Mr. Mitchell joined AECOM in July 2006 (then Faber Maunsell), and was part of the Dŵr Cymru / Welsh Water DG5 flooding framework team, based in their project office in North Wales, United Kingdom. Mr. Mitchell relocated in 2010 to Winnipeg, Canada and now continues to work as the Prairies Department Manager for Condition Assessment and Asset Management as well as AECOM's TechEx Global Technical Lead working within the Community Infrastructure Group.
Mr. Mitchell has utilized his knowledge and training to become a Trainer for NASSCO Inc.© for the Pipeline, Manhole and Lateral Assessment Certification Programs™, supporting these programs by joining a number of committees such as NASSCO’s Infrastructure Assessment, Canadian Government Relations and Condition Grade Committees. Mr. Mitchell has supported the production of the v7.0.4 Metric Edition and now v8.0 and v8.1 NASSCO’s PACP Manual and has recently became a proud NASSCO Board of Directors member. Mr. Mitchell continues to serve as a subject matter expert and specification author, project manager, contract administer and technical advisor for large inspection, condition assessment and CIPP lining contracts across North America having assessed over 3,000km of sewer pipe and 30,000 manholes in Winnipeg alone using various tools such as Monte Carlo simulations, sewer deterioration curve Analysis, Markov Chain Modelling, various GIS platforms such as ArcMap and Innovyze Info AssetManager and custom designed asset management products.
