About me
Brodie Thompson is the Program Manager for the Waterworks Program at the City of Saskatoon. Since 2023, he has provided strategic oversight for a portfolio of important capital projects that will enable future growth while ensuring that existing infrastructure remains both resilient and reliable.
With a career spanning nearly two decades across the public and private sectors, Brodie brings a wealth of diverse experience to the program leadership role. He previously served five years as an Engineering Manager for the City of Saskatoon, focusing on the operations and maintenance of water, wastewater, and road infrastructure. His earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Project Manager and Bridge Engineer with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways, following several years as a geotechnical engineer in the private sector.
Brodie earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. When he’s not rambling on about project delivery methods, you can usually find him with a paddle in hand, exploring the lakes and rivers of northern Saskatchewan.
