About me
Adam Braun is a Senior Municipal Engineer, Senior Associate, and Team Lead located in Winnipeg, MB with over 20 years of engineering experience. Adam specializes in buried pipeline structures, with extensive experience in the assessment, design, construction, and renewal of underground sewer and water utilities and has worked on large diameter sewers and transmission main projects across Canada and North America. This focus on buried pipe design has provided him the opportunity to hone his skills in the design of large diameter pipe, trenchless pipe installations, and pipe exposed to extreme loading conditions.
Leveraging his knowledge of pipeline structures and trenchless construction, Adam has over 15 years of experience in pipeline condition assessment and rehabilitation. With a focus on advanced condition assessment, Adam has worked with technologies ranging from multisensor gravity sewer inspection platforms to advanced electromagnetics in pressure pipe applications. Adam’s rehabilitation experience includes a wide range of trenchless rehabilitation technologies for both pipelines and maintenance holes. This expertise has allowed Adam to work on a wide range of rehabilitation projects ranging from large CIPP programs (>$30M per annum) to specialized large diameter, non-circular, and pressure pipeline projectsAdam is also a published author, with a large number of conference papers and presentations to his name. While primarily focused on pipeline rehabilitation, they also cover topics such as trenchless construction, managing construction challenges, and complex pipeline engineering projects.
