Lagoon facilities in Canada are facing more stringent effluent requirements for BOD, TSS, and nutrient removal. This presentation will demonstrate an updated approach for lagoon-based wastewater treatment and will provide a comparison of past lagoon design standards to current ones and introduce advanced lagoon technologies that can be implemented for nutrient removal strategies.
